Part 1 of A Very Very Really Very Special Charlie Report for Monday, August 17, 2009...

...with me, Charlie.

Only I'm so tired I can't even think right now, but I will say that I just had the most excitingest weekend of my whole entire life and all these people who are my relatives came to see me and love me and bring me presents for like 4 days and it was SO GREAT but then they left and it was just me and Mom and Dad and I'd be bored now except I'm SO TIRED!

But it all started last Wednesday when Mom and Dad and I were sitting in the living room after dinner and Dad was on the sofa and Mom and I were in the Charlie Chair and then these STRANGERS came walking up in our yard and right into our house except they weren't REAL stranger, they were one of my grandmas and this brother of Dad who is my Uncle Kevin and his wife my Aunt Monique and my cousins Meredith and Eric, and I never met them before except for Grandma, so I was a little nervous at first. But it turns out that they all love me AND they brought me two presents, so then I wasn't nervous and we had lots of fun and Dad was all surprised and excited because he thought it was all about him and we stayed up late and then Uncle Kevin and them all went to a hotel except Grandma stayed with us because she loves me best.

And then the next morning on Thursday, it was weird because Daddy got up before Mom, and then Uncle Kevin and them all came over and drove away with Mom in their car and I heard Mom said she was taking them to work so they could park there and then go look at boring monument things or something all day. And THEN Mom didn't come home at her regular time and I was all "hey, I gotta pee, someone better get here or else" but then Dad came home before Mom and let me out and gave me dinner, and then Mom came home with all those relatives, and then they all went back to their hotel for a while except for Grandma, who stayed with us because she loves me best. And then they all came back to our house when it was getting dark, and then all this food came from the Chinese restaurant, and everyone sat down to eat except for me because everyone is mean and doesn't let me have any. And then it got EVEN WEIRDER!
